How will you benefit
|
|
This course seeks to bridge this gap by providing
service staff with the knowledge and practical techniques
to serve alcohol in a responsible, safe manner. Both service
staff and customer will stand to benefit by the implementation
of responsible serving strategies. Customers will appreciate
the friendly and safe atmosphere licensed establishments provide,
and service staff will be empowered to ensure that their customers
have an enjoyable and safe experience within their establishments.
Taking this course will also raise the standard of professionalism
of service staff as well as the establishments they are employed
by.
Responsible service of alcohol can also be an effective tool
in the overall drive to minimize problems associated with
alcohol consumption (such as underage drinking and drunk
driving).
At the end of the course, all participants will be required
to sit for a 40-min assessment exam in the classroom. The exam
will be invigilated and marked by the trainer. Participants
must achieve a score of 80% or above in order to pass the
course and receive a certificate.
